Tre was born and raised in Loveland, Colorado and enlisted in the U.S. Army. Completing basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia and spending the rest of his enlistment at Fort Irwin, California. Upon completing his time with the U.S. Army, he moved back to Colorado and attended Aims Community College, majoring in business management.
He started his own construction company that lasted 11 years, but with the downturn in the economy in 2008 took a position in Casper, Wyoming as a construction superintendent. He specialized in finish carpentry and worked on many projects in and around Casper. Looking for a something that didn’t require him to work outside as much and be home more, he started working for a local heavy equipment company and gradually learned that he enjoyed the “numbers” side of business.
In Fall of 2018, he decided to return to school by enrolling in Casper College. With the intention of eventually getting his Bachelor’s in Accounting, he recently received his Associate of Science in General Studies and became AIPB (American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers) Certified. He plans on continuing his studies at Casper College and building his knowledge to become an asset to Grooms and Harkins, P.C. and its clients.
In his spare time, he enjoys helping friends and family with their gardening, fishing various waters around Wyoming, and traveling back to Colorado to visit family such as his parents and daughter. He lives in Casper with his son and spends time riding bicycles whenever possible.
