Brenda Tanfield, CMA

Staff Accountant

Brenda was born in Salt Lake City, Utah moving to Rawlins, Wyoming as a small child. She graduated from Rawlins High School in 1989. After high school Brenda spent time in Laramie, Cheyenne, and ventured as far as Nampa ID. In 1998 Brenda moved to Billings, MT where she earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration/Accounting in 2002 at Montana State University Billings. After graduation she spent five years as a full-charge bookkeeper before moving back to Wyoming.

In 2007 Brenda earned her master’s degree in accounting at the University of Wyoming and in January 2008 began work with Hellman, Main, Coslor & Kathol, P.C. in Kearney Nebraska for the tax season. In May 2008 she began her 11-year career for Royal Engineered Composites, Inc. in Minden NE.

In 2013 Brenda earned her designation as a Certified Management Accountant, after which she was promoted to Chief Financial Officer for Royal. After her successful tenure at Royal Brenda moved back to Wyoming in 2019.

Brenda is a mother, grandmother, and is engaged to be married. In her spare time, she enjoys cross stitch and quiet time at home with her friends and family. Brenda is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and hopes to tackle her CPA credentials in the near future.
